2. Data controller and representatives
For personal data collected through forms and analytics (when enabled), SyncIntelligence acts as controller. We maintain an internal register of processing activities available to regulators upon lawful request.
3. Categories of data processed

4. Purposes and legal bases
We process data to respond to enquiries (contract/legitimate interests), operate secure infrastructure (legitimate interests), comply with law (legal obligation), and—only after opt-in—measure site performance (consent).
5. Retention
Enquiry records are retained up to twenty-four months unless a longer period is required for disputes. Analytics slices tied to consent are deleted within ninety days of withdrawal unless law requires otherwise.
6. Third-party sharing

7. International transfers
Where data leaves Japan, we rely on appropriate safeguards such as standard contractual clauses or adequacy decisions as applicable, documented in our vendor assessments.
8. Security measures
Access controls, encryption in transit, segmented environments for staging, and periodic reviews of administrative accounts. No system is perfectly secure; we investigate credible reports promptly.
9. Children’s privacy
Services target adult professionals. If we learn we collected data from a child without appropriate authority, we delete it unless retention is legally required.
10. User rights
Depending on jurisdiction, you may request access, rectification, erasure, restriction, portability, or object to processing. Japanese consumers may exercise rights under applicable law including the Act on the Protection of Personal Information where relevant. 11. Policy changes
We revise these terms when practices shift materially. Continued use after notice constitutes acceptance where permitted; substantive changes to data rights will be highlighted separately.
